PENDANT 2024

A brass pendant crafted with techniques such as soldering, riveting, stone-setting, embossing, and hand sawing. This necklace was inspired by my mother’s own jewelry that she has gifted me over the years. The snake design was embossed onto the pendant and finished with a brown-black darkening patina. *Chain was not made myself.

CONTAINER 2024

A small copper container representing an aspect of memories - the human touch. This container was created originally using photographs of my peers that was then collaged into a design on Photoshop. Then, the design was photo-etched onto a copper sheet and made into a cylinder. The tab-style lid was hand sawed to have the tabs shaped as hands. As you lift the lid, the hands begin to appear. The entire piece was finished with a brown-black darkening patina.

BROOCH 2024

A copper and brass brooch that was curated to represent a part of my personality. As I am very drawn towards celestial elements and often reflect this in my own jewelry, I created a brooch combining three different shapes and techniques. The gold sun and spiral were first hand sawed and later riveted together to create more layers. The copper moon was finished with a hammering texture to create the “crater” look. Lastly, the star was darkened using a brown-black patina and riveted to the moon. A pin back was then attached to the back of the piece.
